Towerview
The Affordable Housing Conservancy provided Towerview apartments in Ithaca, NY with a comprehensive weatherization scope. Measures included air sealing, enhanced attic insulation, and air source heat pumps for efficient heating and cooling. Refrigerators, bath fans, and range hoods were replaced in each apartment for optimal air quality and reduced energy use.
Weatherization Measures
Air sealing around doors & windows and new attic insulation improved energy efficiency
Existing refrigerators were replaced with new, Energy Star rated refrigerators
Ventilation fans, smart switches, and range hood vents were installed to improve ventilation per ASHRAE standard
New, high efficiency air source heat pumps were installed in the building
